Historical links can be traced back to the ancient Silk Road when the city served as a hub for the exchange of handcrafted goods, umbrellas, jewelry and woodcarving.

Khoa Samui is probably the most famous island for anyone interested in rock climbing. The island is a paradise for rock climbers. This is the third largest island with its beautiful beaches, scenic attractions, and hilltop views.

The Floating Market is a very attractive place for tourists to see the traditional way of selling and buying fruits, vegetables from small boats. Floating Market is routinely crowded with hundreds of buyers and sellers floating in their small rowing boats selling and buying or exchanging their goods.
