Bangkok Ancient City is the world's biggest open-air theme Park, which was founded by a Thai businessman who love d Thai art, history and architecture. His family kept a high profile and own ed many big corporate businesses here. He intended to build this place as a study center for Thai history , where people would come and see various kind s of building s that are gathered here. The replicas of original buildings with a long history were built from all over the country. Some of the architecture was built during the Cambodian , Burmese, Sukhothai and Ayutthaya periods .
I am very impress ed with the founder's good inten tion to buil d this place . I still remember my first trip here , when I was in high school and had climb ed up to the top of the Cambodian Sanctuary, called the Koh Phra Wihan. After all these years, this place has been rebuilt , renovated and more buildings have been added to it .
