Day 1
City –City : Chiang mai
Service list : Transfer from Airport to Chiang mai Hotel, Doi Suthep temple, Wat Wat Jet Yod, Wat Suan Dok**with tour guide
Meals: none
Be greeted by a local representative, our tour guide. Start with driving through different parts of the city, passing old City walls, gates and city moat, markets, residential areas, foreign Consulates, Government buildings and Tapae, Chiang Mai's main street . Drive up Doi (Mount) Suthep to visit Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep (A. .1384) 3500 feet above sea - level, the most sacred temple in Northern Thailand, containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha, with a challenging flight of over 300 steps, flanked by enormous mythological Nagas . A panoramic view of the city can be seen from here at 3 , 500 feet above sea - level . Then visit Wat Jed Yod ( A . D .1455) with its seven - spire stupa; and Wat Suan Dok where the ashes of Chiang Mai's royal family are interred.
Day 2
City –City : Chiang mai - Lampang
Service list : Thai elephant conservation center

Leave Chiang Mai along the mountainous highway to Lampang (93 Kms . away ) and visit Thai Elephant Conservation Centre . ( the Thai Forest Industries Department ) Next, start elephant trekking for 1 hour into the forest .
See the elephants taking their daily bath and see elephants at work demonstration for 45 minutes . Directly departure back to your hotel .
Day 3
City –City : Chiang mai
Service list : Chiang dao hill tribe village
Meal : Breakfast,
Leave Hotel by air - conditioned vehicle for Chiang Dao (75 Kms . away ) passing Mae Rim, Mae Taeng . Arrive Chiang Dao and travel by private truck along dirt road (5 Kms ) to a Lahu hilltribe village and further (3 Kms .) to a Palong ( Baan Pang Daeng ) hilltribe village , new immigrants from Myanma . Back to the hotel. |
