The Elephant Conservation Center in Lampang is well known as a secure breeding place and a natural home for Thai elephants. The good vision of the elder sister of King Rama IX can help to preserve Thai elephants, which are in danger of extinction because of less food in the jungle, hunting and many more.
At the Center, you will enjoy the show and talents of the elephants. At the same time , your visit will help you to understand and be part of helping elephants to survive on earth . This page provides information for just one day visit . However, if you have many days to spare , you can join the mahout program and learn from this beast.
More importantly, this place is home to Chang Ton and Chang Samkan (the royal white elephants ) belong ing to the present Thai King. Unfortunately, the center does not allow visiting these elephants. |

Start elephant trekking for 1 hour into the forest.
See the elephants taking their daily bath and enjoy their demonstration for 45 minutes . Direct departure back to your hotel. |
