Laos visa, Cambodia visa, Malaysia visa, and Myanmar visa for Visa to neighbor country of Thailand
For visitors who travel in Thailand and would like to go to the neighbor countries as Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and Malaysia, we have the useful information in the following below.
If you would like to entry visa into Laos, it can be obtained at the border, or at the airport in Vientiane, but if you would like to stay up to 15 days it can only be obtained at the airport in Vientiane (not boarding crossings). The required documents are 2 visa application forms,3 Passport-type photographs, your passport that must have at least 6 months remaining validity and one blank visa page, photo copy of travel agency or airline itinerary. The visas are for two weeks, and cost US$30.00. You do not have to go through a visa service provided by travel agencies.
Visitors who will enter Laos through Huayxai-Chiangkong Border (Northern Thailand) need to get the Laos visa stamp from the Laos Embassy before entry. Since last August 2000, the Laos Authority had terminated the visa stamp at this border.

You have to apply a tourist visa to visit Cambodia. The validity is 3 months starting from the date of issue and the length of stay is 30 days. The visa fees are USD20+USD5 (processing charge). And the required documents are passport valid for at least 6 months, a recent passport size photo.

Visitors who would like to entry Malaysia must apply and obtain a visa in advance at Malaysian Representative Office before entering the country. Application for visas should be made at the nearest Malaysian Missions abroad. The required documents are passport or travel document, form IM.47 (3 copies),3 passport sized photographs, return or onward traveling ticket and proof of sufficient funds. The fee is about $45.00 per visa.
