Pattaya is well known for go go bars, girls, sex, lady boys, bar gay, nightlife, and dirty beach. Well, it is correct but not all of it. There area also the good area of Pattaya that you can enjoy sea , sand , sun and activity with your family. On this page, we will separate Pattaya into 7 areas. North Pattaya

North Pattaya has many of local people living area. There are local market and some of condominium on sale . Some of condominium convert into hotel. This is a convenient area to reach to sight seeing and middle Pattaya. There is also some sight seeing such as Sanctuary of the truth.

Crystal Pattaya (2 star hotel - budget class )

Middle Pattaya

Middle Pattaya or Pattaya klang is a main area which has many of Pattaya hotels ,shopping malls , restaurants , lot of sun desk with umbrella on the beach , street food and sight seeing such as Tiffani and Alcaza show. The main street of this area is called Pattaya road and Pattaya Sai 2 which is parallel to the beach. Form Pattaya soi 7 on the way down to walking street is loaded with bar bear and go go bar. If you come with family or your husband, please avoid to stay in this area. If you come with family ,we recommend hotel around area of Pattaya soi 1- 5. And if you love to swim in the sea, please avoid this area as well. The beach in this area is not so nice. South Pattaya

South Pattaya is a big part of Pattaya starting from walking street all the way down to Jomthian beach. The road after middle Pattaya will pass local community , local restaurants, hotels and markets.

Koh Pratamnak road

Pratamnak road is the road connect between south Pattaya and Jomthian beach. Koh is Thai word mean mountain. Many of luxury hotel with good amenity is located on the mountain area with nice beach with less crown and better quality sea water. See the list of recommend hotel.

Jomthian beach

Jomthian beach is a long straight beach after Koh Pratamnak road. It has many of big hotels on beach road. This is famous for Thai tourist. In term of hotel rate and quality of sea water it is nice and good to swim. There are also Gay zone but it is not on the main street. Recommend hotel in this area.

Grand Jomtian (3 star – Superior class)

Sukhumvit road , out side the Pattatya town

The road continue to the east of Thailand is Sukhumvit road. The next destination of south Pattaya is Sataheep where is Royal Thai Marine base. Among list of Pattaya area above, this is the best area for sea quality and privacy. You can find many small hut and bungalow design resort. Koh Lan

This is island is well know as Coral island where people from Pattata take day trip. You can also stay over night here. There are many beaches suite for those who love to stay and enjoy good quality of sea , sand and sun. However, most of resort here is in small bungalow which is operated by local people.
