Recommend fun festivals according to season
There are three seasons in Thailand, and the festivals celebrated during each season reflect how the Thai people play with the weather to create tradition and ritual.
Thai Festival in Summer: You should not miss Songkran festival. It is a well known fun festival, which is all about playing with water. Anyone who gets out of the house during April 15-17 is going to get wet. The celebration is fun. Many children, teenagers and young adults love this festival. They will fill buckets with water and wait for someone to pass by so that they can throw water at that person and get each other wet.

Thai Festival in Monsoon : At the middle of the monsoon is the plant season. During that time, the Buddhist monk will not go out to stay overnight in other temples. The celebration before the Buddhist Rain Retreat is Candle Festival. The candles will be made for decorative purpose in ornate design, which you cannot see anywhere else in the world.
