Thailand budget travel package :Why book this trip?
Map : BAngkok-Chiangmai
According to my long experiences in tourism, I realized that I should make a trip for people who want to have their own time to explore the city by themselves. At the same time, they should get some advice from the local experts. I am confident that this trip will suit their interest. Even though this program might be similar to some companies, differently, the tour program is clearly described without using tricky words and hidden payment. The payment conditions are fair. You can see what we offer "less for more". We are experts in all regions, please do not worry. We are pleased to recommend you to local restaurants where the real locals eat, so you will be able to get senses of real life. Also, vendors we use are locals. You will definitely tough the locals. It is a way to distribute income to the locals as well.

There are variable trip schedules suiting your vacation. Please kindly e-mail us your chosen departure day. This trip takes 8 days (3 nights in 3 star hotels, 2 nights in Hill tribe village camps and 2 nights on night trains). On the first day, you will be meeting our tour guide at the hotel lobby at 6:30 pm. The trip preparation, brief tour program and optional tours will be informed to you. For those who will be arriving at the hotel later than 6:30 pm., do not worry. We leave a message for you at the reception. Our hotline opens 24 hours. You can call us any time : +66 81 731 6556 or +66 81 638 8694.

Bangkok, Thailand's major gateway, casts an irresistible spell of enchantment. To the Thais it is Krung Thep, "City of Angels", and you'll find it truly a magic place, one that captivates the imagination. Bangkok expresses Thailand's uncanny ability to blend the old with the new. Ancient palaces and Buddhist temples contrast with rising luxurious condominiums. In the midst of dynamic modern growth, this bustling metropolis still preserves plenty of cultural heritages which make the town become the national treasure house of Thailand. This lends a thrilling sense of discovery to one's sightseeing and adds an element of surprise when exploring what is the Orient's most fabled city.

Day 3
- (/-/-)
Chiang Mai (New City) was founded in 1296 by King Mengrai as the capital of the first independent Thai state, Lanna Thai (Kingdom of One Million Rice Fields). It became the cultural and religious center of the northern Tai, those who had migrated from southern China to dwell in Thailand, and remained so throughout the turbulent period of recurring Burmese attacks. The Burmese finally captured Chiang Mai in 1556 and occupied it until KingThailand budget travel package : Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep Taksin retook the city in 1775, driving the Burmese forces back to near the present border. Burmese influence on religion, architecture, language, cuisine, and culture, however, remains strong. The city stands on the Ping River, a major tributary of the Chao Phraya River.

Upon arrival at a train station. Take a local transport to the hotel and then, drive up Doi (Mount) Suthep to visit Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep(A.D.1384) 3500 feet above sea-level, the most sacred temple in Northern Thailand, containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha, with a challenging flight of over 300 steps, flanked by enormous mythological Nagas. A panoramic view of the city can be seen from there. Next, drive through different parts of the city, passing old City walls, gates and city moat, markets and residential areas. Leisure time. Walking and shopping at Night Bazaar is not to miss! Overnight in Chiang Mai.

The guide will lead a tour through the temple for about half an hour. Then another 15 min. drive to the end of the road. Next, our guide will lead you for almost 2-hour trekking through a wonderful evergreen jungle landscape with lots of beautiful birds, through bamboo forests, lianas, rhododendrons and lots of other vegetation. Then, walk to Meo hill tribe village with a nearby waterfall, where you will stay over night. We will make a campfire and have a lot of fun (local beverages available). Dinner. Overnight at a hill tribe village camp.
