Day 1 : Arrival Bangkok - Transfer from Airport to Bangkok Hotel (-/-/-)

After arriving in Bangkok - Transfer to the hotel (by taxi or on request individually organized by us)
In the afternoon, after a rest break can be experienced on a typical long tail (long tail), a boat tour along the bustling Chao Phraya River. First, you visit the impressive Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn. Then continue by boat to the calm side channels - the "Klongs of Thonburi. Get an insight into the simple life of Thais, which here since it is so close to the vibrant city life and yet so very different on the banks of the River. Finally, visit the Royal Barge Museum and see the beautiful boats that are used by the king on state occasions.

Day2 : Bangkok (B/-/-)

Optional morning visit to Lumpini Park, this is the place where most locals gather for morning exercise. (Thai Chi, yoga, aerobics, dance ...). Enjoy a stroll through the park before the city wakes up. Return to the hotel. (use Van)

Breakfast in the hotel. Today, explore Bangkok by public transport. Together with your guide, you walk from the hotel to the nearest BTS (Skytrain) station. It's just a short drive to the station "Saphan Taksin", near the Chao Phraya River. From here, continue with the public boat to Tha Thien Pier. Very close to the pier is Wat Po, famous for its massage school, and the reclining Buddha. Then visit the Royal Palace, home of the famous "Emerald Buddha". When visiting the palace should shoulder and knee-capped clothing. (Clothing can be hired locally).

In the afternoon to explore the "royal court of Sanam Luang" either on foot or by tuk tuk. A trip to the Mecca of backpackers, Khao San Road, is possible. Then it's on the Champs Elysées Thai, Rachadamnoen. Enjoy a ride in a tuk tuk to the historical Klong "Saen SAAP. From here, continue with the "Klong - bus-boat." The journey leads them through the city to the West End. The final stop is in "Ratchathewi, near the Jim Thompson House and Museum. After the visit you have time for some leisure or shopping. The fifth largest Shopping Centre (MBK, Siam Square, Siam Center, Siam Discovery, Siam Paragon) are nearby. Alternatively, return to the hotel with Skytrain.

Day 3 Ayuttaya (B/L/-)

Tour highlight: Visit and learn about the history of Wat Prasrisanphet, Viharn Phra Mongkolborphit, Ayutthaya Study Center Museum, Bang pa in Summer P alace, Wat Mahathat, Wat Lokayasutharam and Wat Chai Wattanaram

Notes

 8:00 am. Depart for the ancient city of Ayuthaya in early morning.

 9:00 am. Visit Bang pa in summer palace one of the beautiful palace that belong to king rama V. After that take a boat along chao praya river to Ayuttaya And enjoy the city in ruins at Wat Prasrisanphet, which used to be the supreme royal temple during Ayutthaya 's days of prosperity . Stop at Viharn Phra Mongkolborphit housing a large bronze cast Buddha image, which was originally enshrined in the open area outside the Grand Palace and was later covered by a building in the reign of King Songtham

12:00. Lunch

1:00-4:00 pm. Visit Wat Mahathat , where the head of Buddha's image is surrounded by roots of a tree.

Finally, visit Wat Chai Wattanaram (built in 1630 by King Prasat Thong, a replica of Angkor Wat with a huge prang surrounded by smaller ones, symbolizing Mount Meru, the residence of the heavenly gods), which is located next to the Chao Praya River. This is the best time to walk and talk about the last period of Ayutthaya and enjoy a nice breeze and take a lot of photos before return ing to Bangkok.

Day 4 : Bangkok - Ubon Ratchatani (B/L/-)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Ubon Ratchatani. Upon arrival transfer to Khong Jiam at the border area of the Mekong and Mun.

In the afternoon, after a short drive from the Pha Taem Historical Park with its prehistoric paintings. The history of Thai perspective begins with the life of Lord Buddha 2547 years ago. Accordingly, it is believed that these paintings are about 5000 to 7000 years old. At the sight you can see some drawings, such as fish or other animals very well. Particularly interesting, however, the mysterious figures, which are not to be interpreted. Listen to the observations of the local leaders and make then your own opinion.

Then you climb back on the boat to Khong Jiam. The Mekong River cruise on a small boat takes you along a narrow but very interesting part of this mighty river. After a relaxing drive from Kaeng Tana, the largest rapids in the Moon River. Here, a huge craggy stone platform is in the middle of the river, so that through the alliance and over-flowing water masses into a waterfall structure.

Day 5 : Ubon ratchathani - Nakhon Phanom (B/-/-)

Transfer from Ubon Ratchathani to Nakhon Phanom, on the way visit Wat Phra That Phanom is the sacred precinct of the Phra That Phanom chedi, located in the district of the same name, in the southern part of Nakhon Phanom Province, northeastern Thailand. According to legend, this structure contains The Buddha s breast bone, and as such, it is one of the most important Theravada Buddhist structures in the region. It was originally built in the 16th century by the Laotian King Setthathirath of Lanxang. Each year, a festival is held in That Phanom to honor the temple. This festival last for one week, during which thousands of people make pilgrimages to honor the shrine.

Day 6 Nakhon Phanom - Nong Khai (B/-/D)

This morning you first visit the "House of Ho Chi Minh" in Najok Village of Nakhon Phanom, a Thai village with Vietnamese roots. This place is historically very important, for here lived President Ho Chi Minh total of 7 years (1924-1931). During this time he was leader of the resistance movement against the French. The ride then proceeds on to Udon Thani Sakon Nakhon. Heading a short stop at Wat Phra That Choeng Chum is inserted.

After lunch at a local restaurant you visit the site Ban Chiang, who was appointed in 1992 by UNESCO as world cultural heritage, and it was the interesting old artefacts are from the Asian crafts and culture. The region is particularly known for its beautiful ceramics and the various small art objects out of clay, stone and animal bones.

In the late afternoon to start the holiday experience "Home Stay" and drive to Wang Nam Mok. The award-winning village is trying to conserve natural resources and wants to home stay projects to the visitors the opportunity to experience nature and culture of the region up close to appreciate them more.

Upon arrival, the names of the villagers in a traditional way welcome. Then you walk through the residential area and enjoy the view over the surrounding rice fields. Along the way you are sure to meet some children playing after school there.

After the stroll you will prepare as part of the family, now together for dinner. However, before eating, take part in a very impressive traditional Baci ceremony, which will provide visitors a safe journey, health and happiness. Together with your hosts enjoy following regional delicacies in a relaxed atmosphere.

Day 7 : Nong Khai – Dansai (B/L/-)

Early in the morning, help your host family in the traditional Buddhist alms ceremony and then get a typical breakfast served in the House. On a hike to the nearby waterfall Nam Mok, you can have the peace of the surroundings and the serenity of the residents work on you.

Before lunch you will cook together with their host families, the popular Thai papaya salad.

In the afternoon, you must unfortunately say goodbye to your hosts to continue your journey.

The tour takes in the afternoon towards Loei. Before arriving in the early evening Dan Sai, visit a charming little river village in Chiang Khan.

Day 8: Dansai (B/L/-)

After breakfast visit the Phra That Sri Song Rak, a large pagoda on the bank of Man River. This beautiful building in the Lao style, similar to the Phra That Phanom, houses relics of Buddha.

After visiting the museum Dansai Phi Ta Khon, which is located in a lovely traditional wooden house. Here you will receive valuable background information about the ghost festival and learn more about the production of the Phi Ta Khon special characters. You can push themselves artistically by painting a mask and thus create their own Isaan souvenir.

Nearby you can visit the beautiful pagoda Wat Neramitt Vipatsana, with a large hall of red Lateritgestein.

After another 8 km you reach the Phu Luang National Park with the Phu Rua, whose summit is 1365 m above sea level. In the eastern part of the park was found in a rock footprints of dinosaurs, which should be more than 120 million years old.

Day 9: Dan Sai - Sukhothai (B/-/-)

After breakfast drive from Dansai on to the historical park of Sukhothai.

The city of Sukhothai in the 13th Century founded and was the first capital of the empire. The name of Sukhothai means "dawn of happiness" and was once the city surrounded by a protective moat. The Sukhothai period is also known as the "golden age" of Thai history.

The park covers nearly 200 chedi, which expire partially, but still in remarkable condition. By bike you visit the most important facilities such as Wat Mahathat, Wat Si Chum, Wat Sri Sawai, Wat Sra Sri and Wat Trapang Ngoen. Enjoy the fresh air as you ride comfortably through the park.

At the end of the tour you will visit the Ramkamhaeng Museum, before returning to the hotel.

Day 10 Sukhothai – Nan (B/-/-)

Before leave for Nan visit the old city outside the city gate of Sukho thai which has Wat sri chom, Wat Pra pai luang.

Continue through picturesque mountain regions up to Nan. This town was for several decades, the capital of a small, isolated and independent kingdom, which was then part of Thailand 1931. Upon arrival check in at the hotel

Day 11: Nan- Chiang rai -Golden Triangle (B/-/-)

Today, the day's program begins with a stroll through the colorful morning market to trade on the locals with a variety of fresh products of the region. Then visit the beautiful temple of Wat Phu Min, the landmark of the city of Nan. Before you continue your journey, visit the Wat Phra That Chae Haeng, with its beautiful golden stupa, which is revered for over 600 years as a holy place of the town.

Day 12 : Golden Triangle - Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai (B/-/-)

After breakfast visit the city of Chiang Saen on the steep banks of the Mekong River, just across from Laos and see magnificent ancient ruins and temples. Visit Hall of Opium ", where you are using edutainment on the history of opium and can provide information on drug-induced problems. The first part of the exhibition presents the 5,000-year history of opium. The second part shows the effects of drugs on mind and body, and global strategies to control drug abuse, international cooperation and the management of drug dependence.

Then proceed towards Chiang Rai. Chiang Rai was founded in 1262 by King Meng Rai and was the first capital of the Lanna Thai kingdom, which was later conquered by Burma. Visit the Wat Rong Khun, Thailand, with its unique "Kanok" architecture.

Then the tour continues to Chiang Mai.

Day 13 Chiang Mai (B/L/-)

Early in the morning you leave the hotel at first hand drive to the top of the mountain visit Doi suthep one of the famous temple.

Lunch is included in the Just Khao Soi Restaurant, where you can taste a typical Northern Thai dish. Each meal is served in a specially designed Khao Soy Set, which consists of a small 8-piece ceramic set.

After lunch, drive to a farm in Mae Rim outside of Chiang Mai. There, you can walk around and then go on board a long boat and enjoy a 30-minute boat ride on the rural Mae Ping River. Along its banks you will see traditional wooden houses and modern residences. Upon arrival at the jetty, walk about 10 minutes to Waroros market where you experience life in northern Thailand. Day 14: Chiang Mai, Elephant ride and Khantok dinner (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive to Chiang Dao, the Elephant camp, just 56 km from Chiang Mai. Enjoy a one-hour ride on the backs of elephants through the dense forest that surrounds the camp and watch the elephants daily morning swim to.

After the bath, the trainers and elephants will demonstrate a number of skills. They leave the elephant camp and drive to the Mae Ping River, where you will meet your Bambooraft drivers and make a pleasant one-hour ride down river. Lunch is served in the Royal Ping Garden Restaurant.

In the afternoon we drive up to the mountain temple of Wat Doi Suthep Prathat, the most famous statue of Chiang Mai. The way over the long staircase along the Nagas (serpent figures) leads up to the wonderful golden pagoda. Here you can enjoy in good weather, a breathtaking view of Chiang Mai and the surrounding area.

In the evening you will gain insight into the Northern Thai culture during a dinner with Kantoke typical Thai dishes, traditional dances and music. After dinner you will have a Khom Loy (floating lantern) light them and send in the cool night. The locals believe that this misfortune is expelled
