Elephants in Thailand are raised to work and as a sideline to serve tourists for rides in the rain forest to take them around National Parks. Ethnic villagers keep these elephants to conduct their different types of rites.
Elephant riding has become an integral part of tour business in Thailand. Well-trained elephants can be ridden through local villages and surrounding forests. You can book an elephant for half hour walk around the tourist destination, or you can book a three or five day trek through the jungle. You can see how the trainers bath their elephants, and watch elephant skill shows such as kicking a soccer ball, dancing, playing music instruments and even painting.

The most well known national park in Thailand is Khao Yai. Khao Yai enjoys the mountainous terrain surrounding the northeast plateau forming the central plain of Thailand. This is park for nature lovers with abundant wildlife, refreshing waterfalls and overall serenity.

The two rivers from maenam Mae Klong resulting in some of Thailand's most impressive waterfalls and wildlife which thrive upon the rivers. Chiang Mai is Thailand's second largest city is known for its cultural significance and is home to around 1100 temples and arts and crafts centers. It is a home of some of Thailand's largest mountains. Historical links can be traced back to the ancient Silk Road when the city served as a hub for the exchange of handcrafted goods, umbrellas, jewelry and woodcarving.
Pattaya is 170 km south of Bangkok. Pattaya makes is an excellent choice who have limited time to enjoy Thailand beaches. It is a town famous amongst sailors for rest and relaxation.
Hua Hin is a beach town famous especially for weekend getaways. Located in the northern area of Kra Isthmus, Hua Hin is an easy 260 km southwest of Bangkok.
Phuket is famous for the various beaches and islands. Mountains and beaches of the island make Phuket one of Thailand's most desirable vacation destinations. Other exotic islands can be traveled through phuket.
