I must say at the outset the whole trip was flawless except for the Thai village two-night stay which we replaced by staying in the guest house nearby. The tour guides were very friendly, knowledgeable, and assisting in every ways. I tipped them generously at the end not so surprisingly. All the places of choice to visit were excellent, the hotels were great, and the food was good, and especially Halong Bay cruise ship stay for overnight was outstanding and our students enjoyed them all very much.

Our way was ok, we occupied our room, afterthat we ’ve done a great tour : visiting the Wat Arun, then the Vimanmek palace and finally the Wat Suthat with the giant wing. So we are very tired. It's been a bit difficult to adjust back to normal time but we are back! I just wanted to tell you how amazing our trip was! We had the best time (even if I was sick for a little of it). Everything went very smoothly and our hotels and tours were great. Honestly, I haven't been to the Amanpuri in Phuket (obviously) but Trisara was beyond amazing. Our suite was so spacious and had everything! We barely needed to leave. And the food was unbelievable- we went into Phuket town once but didn't even eat there because we knew it wouldn't be as good as our hotel's food. And the staff was so amazing. We were also kind of spoiled because it wasn't very crowded- we rarely saw more then one other couple or two; we usually ate alone at the restaurant for all meals.

The tented camp was also amazing- an experience we will never forget. I loved the elephants and the staff there was great. They were very helpful and accommodating when I wasn't feeling well and they always asked how I was doing.

I would say the Chedi was the biggest surprise to us- we seriously regret not staying in Chiang Mai longer both for the hotel and the city. When we decided not to stay at the Four Seasons in Chiang Mai to save some money, I figured the Chedi would be a nice but just "okay" hotel. Wow! I was so wrong. We LOVED this hotel. It was sooo nice- the room had everything and the style was very Japanese. One of our biggest regrets was not being in the room more because we were touring all day!! And we didn't get to enjoy the club level perks because we were never there for the happy hour time. We also loved the city of Chiang Mai and could have spent another day or two there. Our tour guide there, Tina, was absolutely amazing. HIGHLY recommend her! She spoke the best English (and spoke fluent Thai, French, Spanish and Italian as well) and knew the answer to every question we asked. There were some things I asked that I thought for sure would stump her, but no- she had an answer to everything we asked about the city, culture and Thai people. She was also very great at making sure we had pictures where ever we went; sometimes we would forget and she would take our camera and take pictures for us.

Four Seasons Ko Samui was beautiful as well- the beach was much better then Trisara and there were more ocean activities. We probably could have done without the excursion that we went on but I am still glad we did it. It was mostly an all day boat ride around the whole island with a small amount of time to snorkel- we would have liked to do something with more swimming and snorkeling and seeing beaches. But it was still great. The rest of the week we just did nothing there- just laid on the beach, read, laid by our pool and hung out. It was really nice.

The other surprise was the Shangri-la. It was gorgeous and wonderful as well! The staff was also amazing and our club level perks were wonderful. We went to the club for drinks and appetizers every night! And since it was at the end of the trip, right as we realized how much we had been spending, we ended up eating just the club level happy hour food for dinner for the last two nights and it was perfect. Our tour guide in Bangkok, Mee, was also amazing. She was a lot younger then Tina and didn't necessarily know as much as Tina did but she was fantastic in other ways. I would also highly recommend her. We only had morning tours in Bangkok and then our afternoons free and she would come with us to the mall, area or where ever and walk around with us after our touring was done just to answer questions or speak Thai to people for us. She took the Skytrain with us and explained how it worked and where we needed to get off. We spent 4 days with her and we miss her!!

We were treated amazing at every location and they were all 5 star places. The only complaint I would have (surprisingly) was the Four Seasons in Ko Samui. Not big complaints but we both just didn't feel like they cared about our business as much as the other resorts did. And if we had only gone there and not been spoiled at a bunch of places beforehand, then we probably wouldn't have noticed. But because we had experienced 3 different resorts/hotels by the time we got there, there were a few things that didn't settle well.

Anyway, if you ever wanted to sit down and discuss, I would be more then happy to and when we sort through our pictures (all 3000 of them!) I'll send you a few!

Hi, i really enjoyed my trip with my parents and my sis a week ago at Bangkok, Thailand because not just the busy city kept us busy and the shopping malls are just so great and its also our tour guide Mee who kept us all day busy! I am really to have Mee as our guide because she is so great, she knows so much about her country and culture and the place she brought us she explain really clearly and all i am so impressed! While our visit to Bangkok was a month ago...we have just returned home to California (we were in Southern Thailand, Cambodia and Hong Kong)...and the recovered!!

While the trip is still fresh in our mind, I want to thank you for all of your help. I had hoped to stop by your office and meet you while we were in Bangkok but Mee kept us to busy!

Also, I would like to thank you for introducing us to Mee. She is a delightful, knowledgeable and helpful young lady that made our trip most pleasant. As I am sure you are aware, we had a minor medical problem (our friend feinted from the heat at the Grand Palace) and Mee was great in arranging for his care.

Lastly, I promised Mee some pictures and she gave me her card with an email address......which I seem to have lost. Could you posilbly send me her email address so I can send them to her...and thank her again for her help? So, we're back in Southern California with lots of pictures and wonderful memories. You’ve asked if we would mind sending along a few words about Ms. Pimolpun Larpyongyos, -"Eng" – to whom you were kind enough to refer us

We often talk about our trip to Thailand as the best we have ever taken (and we’ve been on quite a few), and we believe much of that sentiment was due to Eng’s professionalism, vitality and expertise. Not only was she able to customize our itinerary via email long before we arrived (her English is amazing!!), but she was more than happy to modify it on the fly once we arrived, to accommodate how we were feeling on any given day.

Eng had a knack for planning events and outings that not only matched what we were looking for, but also ensured we weren’t doing the same types of things multiple times (i.e. visiting nothing but temples). We left absolutely everything in her hands – sightseeing, meal planning, travel and hotel bookings, etc. – and as a result we could focus on enjoying the experience, not wasting time trying to identify what to do.

Eng also put an emphasis on visiting many non-tourist areas (at our request), so that we could get a feel for life and customs in Thailand. The experience was unforgettable.

We would highly, highly recommend Eng and her services, without reservation. And when we go back, which we will, we will definitely be using her again. She made us feel very comfortable in a country where we didn’t know what to expect. We consider her a friend.
