Patong Beach


Hat Patong (หาดป่าตอง)

15 kilometers from town, Patong is Phuket’s most popular and developed beach which serve a variety of entertainment such as excellent nightclubs, bars, high-quality restaurants providing fresh seafood. Also, it offers shopping centers, white sand beach with crystal clear water and water sports. Definitely, it is a paradise of snorkelers and divers. It is regarded as one of the world’s Top 10 diving sites.

Laem Prom Thep


Laem Phromthep (แหลมพรหมเทพ)

Phromthep Cape is located between Kata and Rawaii and it is a headland forming the extreme south end of Phuket. “Phrom” is Thai for the Hindu term, “Brahma,” signifying purity, and “Thep” means ‘God.’ Local villagers used to refer to the cape as “Laem Chao”, or the God’s Cape. Indeed, it is so romantic to see the sunset there.

Karon Beach

Hat Karon (หาดกะรน)

The second largest of Phuket’s tourist beaches, some 20 kilometers from town. Large resort complexes line the road behind of the shoreline, but the long, broad beach itself has no development. The sand is very white and soft. When you walk on, you would feel like you were on cloud. There are plenty of restaurants and tourist stores right across the street from the beach. The southern point has a fine coral reef stretching toward Kata and Bu Island. There is also its sister beach, Karon Noi.

View Point (จุดชมวิว)

This is located midpoint between Nai Han and Kata beaches. The scenic Kata Noi, Kata and Karon beaches, and Ko Pu Island can be viewed from this point. Do not miss sunrise and sunset!

Wat Chalong


Wat Chalong (วัดฉลองหรือวัดไชยธาราราม)

This is located in the Southern section of the island. It is the temple where the monk statue of Luang Pho Cham houses. He helped the people of Phuket put down the Angyee, or Chinese Coolie Rebellion, in 1876 during the reign of Rama V. There are also statues of Luang Pho Chuang, and Luang Pho Cham, abbots of the temple during later times.

Khao Phra Thaeo Wildlife Conservation Development and Extension Centre


Khao Phra Thaeo Wildlife Conservation Development and Extension Centre (สถานีพัฒนาและส่งเสริมการอนุรักษ์สัตว์ป่าเขาพระแทว)

Its duty is to promote, distribute and wildlife within Khao Phra Thaeo wildlife park. The park is full of virgin forests and also actively conserves a number of wild animals; they would otherwise be extinct in Phuket. It is a center for the study of the environment and the forest vegetation is spectacular. Giant trees supported by huge buttresses are thick with creepers and climbers of every description.

Big Buddha Statue (พระใหญ่)

One of the newest Phuket attractions is the Big Buddha Statue which is located on the top of a large hill overlooking the island and the Andaman Sea. The Big Buddha statue in Phuket is over 45 meters in height and cost nearly 1 million dollars to build.

Siam Niramit is a large entertainment complex located on the Bypass Road in the northwestern area of Phuket Town. It has a large theatre with 100 performers play a three acts, cultural show every night. The show includes Thai History, Thai mythology, and Thai traditions. They presented in a colorful and lively show using some of the latest effects and on the outside, they allowed visitors to look around the typical villages of the four main regions of Thailand as well as a floating market and some outdoor performances.

Bangla Road (ถนนบางลา)

The nightlife of Phuket is famous around the world and is one of the main attractions for many travelers visiting Phuket. You will never know how much it is hurt, but fun until you apply for being a Thai boxing trainee in a Thai boxing camp. Do not be scared, just little bleeding! Nowadays, not only big-muscle men are boxers but also beautifully pretty girls and women are.

 

Season of Travelling

November to February is the coolest season in Phuket this is the best time to travel but also the busiest time because is the high tourist season.

March to Mid-May are considered the hottest months in Phuket but one of the good reason for you to come here around this time is “Songkran festival” you’ll get to splash water at each other so I guess this will cool you down a little bit haha.

Mid-May to October is Moonson season and because of this, the price in almost every hotel are so low plus, is good for anyone who want to be in peace cause it’s not gonna be as crowded as in high season.
