14 Days in Thailand for Adventure Trip : Itinerary   

Day 1: Arrival Bangkok  (-/L/-) 

Upon arrival in Bangkok, meet up with your guide and transfer a Mahasawat canal trip. First stop at the orchid farm, where thousands of orchids are grown for the export market. Of course, if you are resident here, you can buy some to take home. This area is often referred to as the “fruit belt” and both sides of the canal feature orchards where a wide variety of fruit is grown. Many orchards specializes and you’ll also be able to visit fields where organic rice is grown.  You can take a ride through an orchard on a Thai-style tractor and afterward enjoy a tasting of whatever seasonal fruit is available. Enjoy your lunch time at a local restaurant.

Then continue your boat trip to visit Lotus flower field, Things grow really well in Mahasawat and it is one of the main sources of lotus flowers for the local markets. Lotus flowers form an important part in Buddhist worship and the myriad of temples throughout the greater Bangkok region rely on producers to meet their daily requirements. You can take a punt on a five-acre pond which harvests 3000 flowers per day. When you re done you all understand Monet s fascination with water lilies. Return to hotel.

Day 2: Bangkok  –  Co-van Kassel (B/-/-) – Join tour start at meeting point

Our tour shows you the daily life of fascinating Bangkok and colorful Chinatown from the inside. As a cyclist you’ll become part of it, for a few hours. Later we cross the river by ferry and see the urban environment of Thonburi. An oasis of peace and quietness compared to busy Chinatown. What a difference! Marvel at stunning river sights and enjoy the fresh breeze. In three hours cycling your see the best of Bangkok.

Day 3: Bangkok – Floating market –Khanchanaburi – War museum  (B/L/D)

07.00 hrs Guide picks up clients from Eastin hotel to Khanchanaburi, on the way visit Floating market. Damnoen Saduak in Ratchaburi Province is the most colorful of Thailand floating markets, about 104 km southwest of Bangkok. Visit the famous floating market, then board a canal boat and view native life along the canal banks and arrive at the market, where boats of various shapes and size, carry goods for trading. Continue for one and half hour to visit bridge over River Kwae and cemetery and museum, then continue to Floating jungle raft ( 1 night).

Day 4: Khanchaburi – Erawan waterfall  (B/L/D)

08.00hrs Depart for Erawan waterfall. Erawan Waterfall, the famous 7-tiered waterfalls are located in the Erawan National Park which is 65 km from Kanchanaburi on Highway 3199. The falls are situated amongst the rough jungle and are truly one of the most beautiful falls in Asia.  Then travel back to Kachanaburi, stay overnight  Koh Kasem resort.

Day 5: Khanchanaburi – Ayutthaya – Overnight train to Chaing mai (B/L/-)

08.00 hrs pick up clients to Ayutthaya had consecutively been a prosperous kingdom for 417 years. There had been 33 kings who reigned the kingdom over that period, beginning with King Uthong in 1893 B.E. The kingdom glorious time ended when it succumbed to Burmese troops on 7th April 1767., concluding 5 dynasties that used to reign the kingdom of Ayutthaya.

After breakfast, only 61 km ( 68 miles) north of Bangkok. Explore Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, this Royal Palace is combined with Thai, Western and Chinese architectures. Then, explore Wat Mahathat where the relic of the Lord Buddha used to be kept secretly in the main prang. The big head of the Buddha image covered by roots of trees can be seen. Next, visit Wat Phrasrisanphet.

This was the largest temple in Ayuthaya in its time and it was used as the royal temple/palace for several Ayuthaya Kings built in the 14th century, the compound once contained a 16m-high standing Buddha covered with 250 kg of gold. Then, go to Wat Yai Chaimongkol was built in 1357 by King U Thong. Then take overnight train to Chiang mai ( train leaves around 19.45 – 07.45 train number 1)

Day 6: Arrival Chiang Mai  (B/-/-)

Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, meet up with your guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, Drive through different parts of the city, passing old city walls, gates and city moat, markets, residential areas, foreign consulates, government buildings and Tapae, Chiang Mai’s main street . 

Drive up Doi Suthep to visit Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep ( A . D .1384) 3500 feet above sea – level, the most sacred temple in Northern Thailand, containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha, with a challenging flight of over 300 steps, flanked by enormous mythological Nagas.

Day 7- 8 : Join Trekking : Chiang Mai  (2 B/ 2 L / 1D)

Trekking Chiang mai 2 days one night ( not too difficult route) overnight at hill tribe village (stay in bamboo house) include Rafting and elephant riding ( during the trek meal is included which arranged by trekking guide) 2nd day return back to hotel Chiang Mai.

Day 9: Free day in Chaing mai  or Optional – Over night train(B/-/-)

1. Guide Service  for 8 hours at 2,500 Baht/trip (for city orientation by local transport such as truck: expense such as admission fee, transportation fee and meal by customer) ( private trip)
2. Biking tour to Vieng kum gam @ 1500 Baht/person ( join trip)

Day 10 :  Arrival Bangkok – Transfer to Samed Island   (-/-/-)

06:50 Arrival Bangkok Train Station. Our tour representative and transfer you to Koh Samet Island (3 hours drive/ 45 minutes boat)
Our driver and local representative will provide you round trip boat ticket between Baan Pea and Samed. 

Boat runing every 30 minutes , therefore we will set up your return trip according to flight to your home. Once you arrive Koh Samet, please pay for National Park 400 THB/ person and take local taxi to your hotel or walk to your hotel.

Day 14: Koh Samed – Departure Bangkok  (B/-/-)

Take a boat back to the mainland. Please check a boat time and return to meet our driver  (meeting time will be advised). Transfer to Bangkok Airport/ Flight back home .
