Description
Wat Kanlayanamit is a royal temple located on the river of the king. The temple was built in 1825. The temple has been dominant in Thai and Chinese art since this land was donated by a wealthy Chinese trader.
The temple name of the temple was given by King Rama III. The name meant true friends. Thai people will come here to pay to respect to the seated Buddha, which is called Luang porto. We can witness how the Thai pray respect the Buddha and see the beauty of the architecture.
