Calypso is located at Warehouse 3 inside Asiatique the river entertainment and open air shopping complex.
Travel to Asiatiuqe
1. Call cap and tell them to go to Asiatique on Chaleankrung road . (เอเชียทีค ถนนเจริญกรุง)
2. Take a sky train line to Taksin station S6 station. Get off at exit 2 , walk to the shuttle to Asiatique

The show cost was fairly expensive. Not the best acting/lip-singing/dancing and even though this is not really our kind of show, we enjoyed the evening.

The performers are transvestites and with the aid of super costumes do great impressions of a multitude of famous western entertainers like Marilyn Monroe and more recent stars. In addition, they did a set of Japanese impressions. It is a tasteful and talented dance performance. The actual songs are lip sync done well.

After an absence of over 10 years we returned to see the newest version. At a different, but better, venue, Asiatique which is a smorgasbord of entertainment and shops, the non-stop show is better than I remembered. The venue is larger and glitzier, the cast is bigger, and the “girls” are not to be believed.

The meal was disappointing, not bad but not great. The main cabaret show started off with a bang Beyoncé was good but the rest didn’t excite the audience. The costumes were tired (worn) and some of the cast seemed to lack enthusiasm possibly due to age or complacency?

If you have seen Simon Cabaret prior to this, then this is a total flop. The show needs more sense of humour as it is rather plain boring throughout the show. It is probably more for those who are just curious to see ladyboys for the first time.
