Thai cooking class Chiang mai & Cycling Trip

This Chiang mai trip starts in the morning for a cycling tour. Ride through the village and along the riverside. Stop at local temple which is less tourist visit. Continue to McKean, Leprosy rehabilitation center and admire people have been caring and helping each other. Stop at vegetable plantation with all kinds of fruits and herb which necessary for Thai cooking such as cabbage, chili, born, eggplant, pea, shallot , garlic , banana ,and  mango for instance. Visit Wieng Kum Kam, ruin city or ancient underground empire of Lanna Kingdom which has archeological excavations and sties.  

Take a break in the afternoon, later continue for cooking class. Start with shopping at the local market. Go to our Lanna style house cooking school. There are 4 menus to start cooking. We go slowly by cooking and tasting the food for one dish at the time. Tea break is also provided with walking around the house. 


Cycling and Thai cooking class Chiang Mai : Itinerary

08.30 Meet our private tour guide and transfer to trekker camp, for select bicycle and briefly information for a cycling route.
09.00 Ride along river via Padad-Singhaka pass Padad Tai Village and continues through the 2nd ring road crossing Koh Klang Bridge (Kourmung)
10.00 Visit McKean, a Leprosy Rehabilitation Center
10.30 Ride a bike to vegetables plantation in the villagers. See and taste fruits, vegetable and herb. There is a chance to join the gardener’s activities like cultivating, watering and fishing.
11.00 Visit Weing Kum Kan, the ancient underground empire of former Chiang mai. Visit ruin archeological excavations and sites. Visit temple such as Wat Chang Kum , Wat E-Kang, Wat Nhan Chang, Wat Pu Beai , Wat Pra thart Khaow and Wat Chedi Liem
12.30 Return to Trekker camp and transferred to the hotel
12.30 – 16.00 free time Optional activities for your consideration are Thai Massage and Spa
16.00 Pick up at hotel and visit Nong Hoi Market for fresh Thai ingredients shopping
16.50 Arrival the market and be ready for the class
17.30 Starting cooking first menu and taste the food. Until The finish the fourth menu at 20.00 hrs.
20.00 Return to hotel
