Pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai city center and travel approximately 1 hour to Mae Kampong village.

Mae Kampong Village (Approx. 6 Hours)

  • Visit the charming village surrounded by nature.

  • Take a guided trek through the jungle, coffee and tea plantations, and to the famous 7-tiered Mae Kampong Waterfall.

  • Enjoy a delicious local lunch at a traditional house or village restaurant.

  • Explore the community and meet local villagers.

  • Learn about the lifecycle of coffee and “miang” tea from harvesting to processing.

  • Try your hand at roasting coffee, cooking a local dish, and crafting a pillow from fermented tea leaves (seasonal activities vary).

  • Optionally, experience a traditional herbal stream bath (additional fee: 300 THB/person).

  • Drive up to the treehouse for panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and forests.
